I am a Systems Administrator/Operations Engineer who loves crazy pipelines and all things written in Python.
I started out working with computers by attempting to do some web design. I quickly realized I liked the more technical side of things, and started working on full stack development. I started off at Wentworth thinking that I'd graduate with my degree and just write code all day--and then it struck me. I don't want to be sitting in a cubicle writing websites or software all day for the rest of my life. Getting into Operations/System Engineering was something I fell into, and I couldn't be more happy that I did.

I ran into this issue a while ago, where clients would complain that they were hitting their Entry Process limits very quickly, even though their websites didn’t have a lot of users. Sometimes these sites were WordPress or another CMS, and generally optimizing the site for OpCache, or limiting plugin use/optimizing imports for JS and […]
I’m not sure why cPanel/WHM has yet to fully support poppassd or some other more simple way of changing an email account password programmatically, but for some reason, they don’t. This rolled up from a client a few months ago, and happened to be a pretty simple solution… albeit unfortunately, well… not very secure. The […]
Ever wondered how to clear out the cache for a specific URL or even your whole website when you’re using Varnish? Sometimes it’s necessary to expire the cache on a URL, like a stylesheet or JavaScript file before Varnish thinks it’s done. This can be useful when you’re making changes to your website and need […]
